Now I just about took this cutey home with me, he is a beautifully and affectionate Red-tailed Black Cockatoo I held in the Ballart Bird Park.
I'm looking at having one for a pet later on when I can dedicate more time so if anyone have one I would love to how how they are as a pet for you?

No idea, sorry but thanks for posting this pic! The black 'toos fascinate me. My family had a white cockatoo for many years, they are such wonderful pets but so demanding! "Love sponge" is an apt phrase to use on cockatoo personality. "spoiled 2 year old" is another. Such fussy and loud birds! I wonder if a black cocky dander is dark like their feathers, or still white like on a white cockatoo? Hugging and cuddling our pet bird used to leave white smudges all over my clothes. ^_^
